Your positioning is the answer to one question: "Why should someone choose your product over alternatives?"

**Who**: Your target customer (be specific) **What**: Your product category **Why**: Your core differentiator **Proof**: Evidence that your claim is true

Example: Positioning in Action

**Weak**: "We're a marketing automation platform" (This describes what you do, not why you're different)
**Strong**: "We're the marketing platform for B2B SaaS companies who don't want to hire an enterprise vendor or learn complex tools"
